Las aventuras de David: Puentes, montañas y más allá - Back To Monkey

David's Adventures: Bridges, Mountains and Beyond

We are proud to be surrounded by people like our friend David, the most adventurous monkey, sharing with us his trip through Finland, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden... and wherever, really.

Here's a little message we received from him recently:

"I love you brother! You can't imagine how much, and how much it fills me that your designs with your essence accompany me on my trips to the most unusual and wild places. You travel with me, brother.”

He is that kind of friend that lifts you up and makes you climb any type of mountain, no matter how difficult it is. He knows how to genuinely appreciate the small details of the things around us, with the most innocent smile on his face. His bed can be the top of a mountain 200 meters away, although he prefers to be surrounded by the stars.

Here are some words he wrote for Back To Monkey. Pure appreciation of the land and nature. Enjoy!

“Go back to our roots. It was not about going as far as possible, nor about reaching a place that seemed to be more important for social etiquette than for its own natural beauty. Return, from the most primitive, wander through nature, where few traces exist, where the wild is still afraid of being converted into a product of a hotel or a luxury resort, where the crunch of bark or the sound of drops in The different surfaces that surround you are music to your ears, where the mountains and the sea lie on the same horizon, making magic the artist of the sunsets. With these words, it seems that I demand too much, but not too little, because that is how nature is when they let it be, a bath of reality, life and emotions. And what price does it have? Your time, yourself, and whatever is born within you that takes you towards the unknown, without seeking recognition or amazement, just a forest or ocean bath, and maybe with luck, a combination of both because that is the whim of nature in that ineffable enclave. It is the natural longing of that portion of our primitive ancestry that is still alive.”
